GRIPPLE wire suspensions have become an integral part of the installation of cooling distribution systems and cooling units themselves. Installing cassette units using traditional threaded rods is now hard to imagine for anyone who has tried the GRIPPLE wire system at least once. It significantly speeds up installation not only on large projects such as office buildings and hospitals, but also in residential buildings. We also offer solutions for suspending air curtains and chilled beams. The end termination of the wire is always adapted to the specific type of ceiling.
Installation is much simpler, also because it is not necessary for the ceiling anchoring points to be perfectly vertical relative to the unit, since the wire suspension can also be installed at a certain angle. Vibrations during unit startup are reduced by the wire suspension itself, which absorbs vibrations. The unit has no rigid support point during startup, which allows it to stop oscillating much sooner than when threaded rods are used. Vibrations from units are absorbed by the GRIPPLE wire suspension to a much greater extent than by threaded rods even when damping elements are used.
This can be demonstrated with the appropriate vibration certification. For this reason, the wire suspension system is also more suitable for residential buildings and office spaces compared to rigid suspension systems.
